A housing development of 93 units by Crest Homes completed in 1998

The houses and flats at Pooles Wharf Court are built on a site which was a commercial Sand Wharf until the early 1990s, supplying sand for the building trade. Back in the 1800s part of the site was used as a Coal Wharf supplying the local population and Steam-ships which visited the Bristol Docks.

The buildings here draw their inspiration from the Regency homes lining the hills of Hotwells and Clifton above. At the heart of the Pooles Wharf Court scheme is a garden square linked to the public walkway along the waterfront.
